A demonstration space

This is Demokratian’s public demo: a fictional neighbourhood association with real votes inside. Everything you see — census, candidates and results — is sample data, but it works exactly like a real space: ballots, sealed records of results and a verification code on every ballot.

You can explore everything without credentials using the “Log in as a guest” button: the votes, the results and the admin panels. Nothing can be modified.

Votes with a sealed, verifiable record

When a vote closes, the count is sealed with an external timestamping service and the record of results is published with its verification code. Everyone can use the code on their ballot to check that their vote was counted exactly as cast, without revealing who they voted for. In this demo you can see it on sample votes that have already closed.
